About the course
Aim
The course aims to give participants a basic orientation in entrepreneurship and service-based business linked to their own future field.
After completing the course, the student should:
- be able to discuss and define the concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation in general and in relation to their main area of knowledge or profession,
- at a basic level, be able to describe and discuss the context and conditions for entrepreneurship and service-based business within their professional area,
- be able to describe issues that make up a business idea and be able to analyze a business from a theoretical perspective,
- have a basic ability to apply theoretical tools in practice when describing their own potential business idea,
- have some ability to communicate a proposal for a business idea in writing, in the form of an Idea PM, and orally, in the form of so-called idea pitches.
Content
The course contains two themes:
- Entrepreneurship and innovation - The student is faced with different perspectives on entrepreneurship and innovation. Here we also ask ourselves what an entrepreneurial and an innovative business is or can be and in what contexts they may exist.
- Service-based idea development - The student practices the process of developing a service-based idea into a business. Here the focus is on how to formulate and develop an idea on which you can build a new business or further develop an existing one.
