About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs skall den studerande kunna
- redogöra för nationella riktlinjer med avseende på dokumentation, uppföljning och utvärdering
- redogöra för och beskriva olika sätt att följa upp och analysera barns utveckling och lärande i relation till den pedagogiska verksamheten
- diskutera etiska aspekter, t ex barns perspektiv och rättigheter, i samband med dokumentation, uppföljning och utvärdering av den pedagogiska verksamheten
- visa förmåga att diskutera dokumentation, uppföljning och utvärdering utifrån kritiska förhållningssätt.
Content
I kursen studeras dokumentation, uppföljning och utvärdering i förskolans praktik utifrån ett vetenskapligt förhållningssätt. I kursen introduceras även grundläggande teorier om bedömning. Kursen berör aktuella styrdokument och riktlinjer, liksom olika tillvägagångssätt för att få kunskap om barns erfarenheter, utveckling och lärande. Detta i sin tur relateras till hur verksamheten organiseras pedagogiskt. Hur dokumentation används och kommuniceras till t ex vårdnadshavare är ett annat viktigt innehåll i kursen. En etisk aspekt av dokumentation som särskilt framhålls är att diskutera dokumentation utifrån barns perspektiv. Dokumentation, uppföljning, utvärdering och bedömning diskuteras kritiskt.
