About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:
- tillämpa en biopsykosocial modell för att beskriva och förklara hur psykologiska, biologiska och sociala faktorer och mekanismer påverkar och vidmakthåller somatisk hälsa och ohälsa
- redogöra för psykologens roll och verktyg vid utredning och behandling av somatisk ohälsa
- föreslå, förklara och värdera psykologiska interventioner och behandlingsmetoder vid somatiska hälsoproblem
- identifiera och reflektera kring etiska frågeställningar som kan aktualiseras vid hälsopsykologisk utrednings- och behandlingsarbete
Content
Kursen är en fördjupning inom det kliniska området och introducerar hälsopsykologiska modeller och tillämpningar samt ett biopsykosocialt synsätt på somatisk hälsa och ohälsa. Kursen ger förutsättningar för att självständigt och utifrån rådande kunskapsläge kunna föreslå, förklara och värdera psykologiska utrednings- och behandlingsinsatser vid somatiska tillstånd samt vid psykisk påverkan vid allvarlig somatisk sjukdom anpassat till olika målgrupper och vårdnivåer. Under kursen kommer stor vikt att läggas vid tillämpningsaspekter samt vid aktuell hälsopsykologisk forskning.
