About the course

Aim

Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande på en avancerad nivå kunna:

redogöra för centrala teorier och begrepp om ledarskap, organisering och styrning i offentlig förvaltning
problematisera och teoretiskt diskutera offentligt ledarskap i relation till policyprocesser på olika nivåer i det politiska systemet
utifrån begrepp och teorier om ledarskap, organisering och styrning i offentlig förvaltning självständigt och strukturerat genomföra fältstudier samt analysera forskningsresultat och presentera dem i muntlig och skriftlig form
teoretiskt diskutera värdegrundsfrågor i offentlig förvaltning utifrån ett ledarskapsperspektiv

Content

I kursen studeras offentligt ledarskap - både det administrativa och politiska - inom olika politikområden som präglas av nätverk och interorganisatoriska sammanhang. Kursen inriktas både på teoretiska redskap för att analysera ledarskap samt på hur ledarskap i den offentliga förvaltningen fungerar i praktiken.
