About the course
Aim
The aim of the course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge to develop programs in C++. To pass the course, the student must fulfill following learning outcomes.
- To use dynamic memory management.
- To design and implement classes that correctly manage resources, including use of move semantics.
- To build class hierarchies.
- To use containers, algorithms, and iterators from the C++ standard template library.
Content
Memory management: stack versus heap, pointers, dynamic memory allocation, common memory handling pitfalls.
