About the course

Aim

The course aims to provide students with a broad and deep understanding of how the MATLAB tool is used in various application areas. After completing the course, the student should be able to:

Laboratories:

  • Apply the MATLAB tool in various systems engineering areas
  • Solve technical problems with MATLAB
  • Explain code implementation and discuss results

Individual Project:

  • apply MATLAB in an area relevant to the student's program and write technical documentation of the work

Content

Areas that will be studied in the course are:

  • Fundamentals of MATLAB, Simulink and programming techniques
  • Data processing and Visualization
  • Machine learning and deep learning
  • Building interactive applications
  • Areas that are relevant to the student’s program such as signal processing and communications or optimization
