Aim
After completing the course, the student should be able to:
- choose and apply methods to problems in curve and surface integrals
- account for and justify solutions to assignments within the course content using relevant concepts and clear reasoning
Content
Variable vectors and vector fields. Field lines. Spherical and cylindrical coordinate systems. The concepts of potential, gradient, divergence and rotation. Curve and surface integrals. Flow integrals. Integral formulas: Green's, Stoke's, and Gauss's theorems. Crooked coordinate systems.
