Aim
After completing the course, the student should be able to
- choose and apply solution methods to problems in both parts of the course A and B, which are described in the course content.
- report and justify solutions to tasks within the course content with using relevant concepts and clear reasoning.
Content
Part A: Geometric vectors. Lines and planes. Introduction to vector spaces. Matrix algebra. Introduction to linear mappings.
Part B: Systems of linear equations. The least squares method. Determinants. Vector space. Bases and base changes. Euclidean spaces. ON bases. Inverse matrices. Isometric representations. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors. System of differential equations. Diagonalizable matrices. Quadratic forms.
