About the course

Aim

Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna - redogöra för grundläggande strukturer i det svenska politiska systemet, - redogöra för centrala och kritiska situationer i den moderna politiska historien och vad dessa betytt för hur svensk politik och förvaltning är organiserad och strukturerad idag, - skriftligt redogöra för och reflektera kring såväl empiriska som principiella aspekter av svensk politik och förvaltning, - analysera politiska händelser i relation till det svenska politiska systemets särdrag och historiska utveckling - analysera och förhålla sig till olika förklaringsansatser inom svensk politik och förvaltning, - kritiskt förhålla sig till argument och tolkningar av olika förvaltningsmodeller och politiska förlopp.

Content

Delkursen behandlar svensk politik och förvaltning avseende lokala, regionala och nationella processer. Särskild vikt läggs vid den politiskt historiska utvecklingen och samspelet mellan politik och förvaltning. Delkursen fokuserar principiella särdrag och deras relation till centrala idéer inom politisk teori.
