About the course

Aim

Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna

kritiskt granska teorier, begrepp och perspektiv för utveckling och utvärdering av skola
analysera såväl kvalitativa som kvantitativa metoder för utvärdering av skola
självständigt planera och utforma ett utvärderingsprojekt kopplat till utveckling av undervisning med relevans för högstadiet, gymnasieskolan eller vuxenutbildning
reflektera över konsekvenserna av egna och andras utvärderingar av skolan och dra slutsatser för verksamheten i skolan och för den egna professionen
tillämpa och kritiskt reflektera kring modeller för utvärdering och skolutveckling utifrån forskning med fokus på lärande för hållbar utveckling.

Content

Kursen omfattar fyra områden: utveckling av skola och vuxenutbildning, utvärdering, metod samt lärande för hållbar utveckling i relation till skolutveckling och utvärdering. I kursen behandlas olika metoder för datainsamling med relevans för utvärdering och skolutveckling. Skolutveckling och utvärdering behandlas på både mikro- och makronivå.
