About the course
Aim
Efter genomgången kurs ska studenten kunna
- argumentera för och diskutera teorier av relevans för studier om yrkesutbildning och yrkeslärarens uppdrag
- söka, analysera och jämföra tidigare forskning inom ett avgränsat forskningsfält
- argumentera för behov av ytterligare forskning inom ett avgränsat forskningsfält
- argumentera för några metodologiska och teoretiska överväganden i relation till tidigare forskning.
Content
I kursen väljs en problemställning som knyts till tidigare forskning och val av teori. Utifrån ställda forskningsfrågor identifieras forsknings- och kunskapsläget. Det egna uppsatsarbetets kunskapsbidrag motiveras i relation till ett identifierat forsknings- och kunskapsläge. Utifrån problemställningen skrivs en projektplan för en masteruppsats, med fokus på kunskapsläget och en teoretisk ansats. I kursen ägnas särskild uppmärksamhet åt att diskutera och motivera val av teori, analysmetod, centrala analytiska begrepp och den egna studiens kunskapsbidrag.
