About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs skall den studerande kunna
- redogöra för några centrala vetenskapsteoretiska begrepp och använda dem för att beskriva skillnaderna mellan olika kvalitativa forskningsmetoder
- redogöra för centrala begrepp och principerna för kvalitativ forskning inom olika metodologiska traditioner
- bedöma och kritiskt värdera kvaliteten hos kvalitativa studier
- reflektera över forskarens roll och etiska dilemman inom kvalitativ forskning.
Content
Kursen behandlar olika metodologiska traditioner av betydelse för kvalitativ forskning, som exempelvis etnografi, grundad teori, diskursanalys och narrativ forskningsmetod. I kursen introduceras olika vetenskapsteoretiska begrepp som vi använder för att beskriva och karaktärisera olika kvalitativa forskningsmetoder.
