About the course

Aim

Efter avslutad kurs skall den studerande kunna

behärska vetenskapliga begrepp kring ledarskap, konflikter, sociala relationer och mobbning,
urskilja sociala faktorer som kan påverka elevers psykosociala hälsa och lärande i skolan,
kommunicera och reflektera kring frågor som rör identitet, sexualitet och sociala relationer,
diskutera olika principer för ledarskap i klassrummet,
redogöra för olika strategier för konflikthantering,
beskriva olika metoder för att förebygga och hantera mobbning och kränkningar i skolan,
relatera teoretiska kunskaper kring ledarskap, konflikter, sociala relationer och mobbning till lärares arbete.

Content

Kursen innehåller fyra delmoment. I det första momentet behandlas teorier och begrepp kring lärares ledarskap. Kunskaper om ledarskapsmodeller, lärar-elev-relationer och kontroll i klassrummet är centrala i detta moment. I det andra momentet behandlas teorier och begrepp kring konflikter och konflikthantering. Kunskaper om olika strategier för konflikthantering, kommunikation vid konflikthantering och medling är centrala i detta moment. I det tredje momentet behandlas teorier och begrepp kring sociala relationer. Kunskaper kring identitet, grupprocesser, social påverkan och kommunikation är centrala i detta moment. I det fjärde momentet behandlas teorier och begrepp kring mobbning. Kunskaper om olika förklaringsmodeller kring mobbning, inklusive hur mobbning kopplas till identitet, sexualitet och sociala relationer, och strategier för att förebygga samt hantera mobbning är centrala i detta moment.
