About the course
Aim
Kunskap och förståelseEfter avslutad kurs förväntas studenten kunna:
- identifiera symtom hos individ vid akuta komplexa situationer inom intensivvård,
- förklara risker för komplikationer och kunna visa olika handlingsalternativ för att förhindra att komplikationer uppstår,
- förutse och förklara individers fysiska och psykiska reaktioner på skada, sjukdom eller ohälsa,
- identifiera och redogöra för lagar och förordningar som styr verksamheten inom intensivvård.
Färdighet och förmågaEfter avslutad kurs förväntas studenten kunna:
- identifiera utveckling och/eller förbättringsarbete grundat i evidens inom professionen,
- planera för individens skiftande behov och förutsättningar i samband med specialiserad intensivvård utifrån en helhetssyn,
- leda, planera, genomföra och utvärdera omvårdnad för individer vid akuta, specifika och komplexa situationer inom intensivvård,
- förebygga komplikationer i samband med intensivvård hos patienter med svår sjukdom.
Värderingsförmåga och förhållningssättEfter avslutad kurs förväntas studenten kunna:
- värdera betydelsen av ålders− och genusperspektiv inom intensivvård,
- identifiera och analysera mänskliga rättigheter och medicinetiska principer i intensivvårdssituationer,
- stödja patienters, närståendes och medarbetares mångfald ur ett samhällsperspektiv.
