About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna
- beskriva olika typer av utredningar och utredningars uppläggning med fokus på det offentliga utredningsväsendet
- använda relevanta metoder och diskutera metodmässiga problem i anslutning till utredningar i skilda sammanhang
- kritiskt diskutera och värdera utredningar och andra beslutsunderlag gällande i första hand statsvetenskapliga och nationalekonomiska frågor
- formulera relevanta och genomförbara utredningsuppdrag/-direktiv.
Content
I kursen behandlas
- metod vad gäller utredningsarbeten, utvärderingar och andra former av beslutsunderlag
- det offentliga utrednings- och kommittéväsendet
- kritisk diskussion, studium och värdering av genomförda utredningar ur såväl ett ämnes- som utredningsperspektiv
- tillvägagångssätt, problem, metoder, etiska dilemman i utredningssammanhang
- identifiering av samhällsproblem och formulering av relevanta och genomförbara utredningsuppdrag eller direktiv.
