Aim

On completion of the course, the student should be able to - plan, carry out and orally and in writing present a research project in a cognitive science field, - demonstrate advanced subject and method knowledge and an increased understanding of issues in the research field - with a scientific approach, discuss and defend the essay - Critically review, evaluate and discuss other students' essays with a high degree of scientific awareness.

Content

The student chooses a research assignment in consultation with the examiner. The assignment may be an assignment from an external employer. In the course, the student plans, carries out and reports the assignment with a scientific approach. The work is carried out under supervision, but the student works independently and is the driving force of the work. During this work, the student uses and deepens the subject and method knowledge that has been acquired in the earlier studies.
