About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:
- identifiera hållbarhets- och miljöproblem inom samhällsplaneringens områden
- redogöra för och diskutera teoretiska perspektiv på hållbarhet, miljö och social förändring
- diskutera och kritiskt granska hur olika aspekter av hållbarhet kan integreras i samhällsplanering
- redogöra för vilka olika konsekvenser hållbarhets- och miljöproblem har för samhället
- redogöra för och diskutera olika förslag till lösningar på hållbarhets- och miljöproblem
Content
Kursen fokuserar på vad hållbarhet, miljö och social förändring innebär inom olika samhällssektorer och vetenskapliga inriktningar. Olika dimensioner av hållbarhet behandlas och hur de kan integreras med varandra. Kursen behandlar olika perspektiv på förslag till lösningar, t ex vetenskapliga perspektiv, sektorsperspektiv och internationella perspektiv. I kursen ingår att kritiskt granska olika förslag på lösningar utifrån de perspektiv som behandlas i kursen.
