About the course
Aim
Efter avslutad kurs ska den studerande kunna:
- redogöra för hur samhällsplaneringen organiseras lokalt, regionalt och nationellt samt beskriva samspelet mellan politik och förvaltning inom samhällsplaneringen
- beskriva aktuella lagar och rättsregler, t.ex. i Plan-och bygglagen, Miljöbalken och andra lagrum, som ligger till grund för samhällsplaneringen
- redogöra för drivkrafter och ambitioner för att initiera och stödja planeringsprocesser och hur intressekonflikter kan uppstå och hanteras
- tillämpa verktyg för att organisera och driva planeringsprocesser samt leda projekt
Content
Kursen behandlar praktisk och teoretisk kunskap om översiktlig planering, detaljplanering och strategisk infrastrukturplanering samt introducerar statsvetenskapliga och juridiska perspektiv. I kursen ingår att utveckla förståelse för strategiska planfrågor, kunskapsunderlag, olika perspektiv och parters roller i planeringsprocessen samt få en förståelse av de rättsliga konflikter som kan uppstå mellan kommun, markexploatörer och andra intressenter. I kursen ingår att utveckla färdigheter inom projekt- och processledning och kursen behandlar konflikthantering genom praktiska övningar och planeringsfall.
